Your donation helps to improve care for patients with kidney disease

The Clinical Department of Nephrology and Hypertension treats patients with life-threatening and chronic kidney diseases. Unfortunately, kidney diseases are on the rise worldwide and are increasing in frequency. Our goal is to reduce the incidence of kidney disease through intensive research, prevention initiatives and improved awareness among medical service providers and the public. We also want to use innovative approaches in renal replacement therapies and transplant medicine to enable our patients with advanced kidney disease to lead as normal a life as possible.

Every donation helps to bring us a step closer to the goal of a world without suffering caused by kidney disease. The donations are used for activities in kidney research, training and further education events for physicians and nurses as well as information events for patients and the public about kidney disease.
