Patient café for transplant patients and waiting list patients

Are you a patient at Hannover Medical School (MHH) and have received a transplant? Are you a relative or friend of a patient? Or are you waiting for a kidney, liver, lung or heart transplant?

Then we cordially invite you to our patient café on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the MHH.

We have invited Professor Christine Falk as an expert. She is head of the Institute for Transplant Immunology at the MHH. From around 17:15 to 17:45, she will report on which vaccinations recommended before and after organ transplantation and will be available to answer questions afterwards.

The event will take place in the MHH Campus Bistro (Building J1) of the MHH.

We look forward to exchanging ideas with you. We: These are the seven members of the Patient Advisory Board of the MHH Transplant Centre who have received a kidney, liver, heart or lung.

Over coffee, tea and cookies, you will have the opportunity to meet us and talk to us and other patients in person, share experiences and ask questions.
