Hannover Medical School (MHH) is one of the largest transplant centers in Germany and has decades of excellence and experience in transplant medicine and transplant research. This expertise benefits our patients. Between 300 and 400 organs are transplanted at the MHH every year. In 2024, 23 hearts, 104 lungs, 76 livers, 125 kidneys and four pancreases were transplanted. The recipients come from all age groups - from infants to senior citizens.

All Clinical Departments, Institutes, outpatient clinics and organizational teams of the MHH that are involved in the care of our patients belong to the Center. The combination of research and patient care at the MHH enables us to develop new diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for our patients. Through teaching and training, we ensure that we can continue to offer our patients qualified care in the future.

Our homepage offers you an overview of our services. Please contact us if you have any questions.
