Our Nursing is based on the MHH mission statement and the nursing concept of Hannover Medical School. It is planned, carried out and evaluated in a patient-oriented manner, taking into account the psychosocial situation.

Our day clinic has 8 therapy chairs and 2 beds.

Our nursing team consists of full-time and part-time registered nurses, medical assistants and study assistants. Participation in internal and external training courses is an integral part of our Human Resources program. New colleagues are introduced to their new tasks according to an induction guideline developed by our day clinic, which guarantees our patients a high standard of safety and care.

We are part of an interdisciplinary team and work very closely with various professional groups, affiliated outpatient clinics, MHH wards, endoscopy, sonography and radiology. Together we pursue the goal of providing the best possible care for our patients.

Our consultation hours are Monday to Friday from 07:30 - 16:00 and Fridays from 07:30 - 14:00.

Our area of responsibility includes, among other things

• Organization and planning of immunotherapy and chemotherapy
• Accompanying and monitoring the therapies
• Advice, guidance and support for patients and their caregivers in dealing with health and illness on an individual basis
• Preparation of care planning and documentation
• Carrying out diagnostic and therapeutic measures according to physician's orders
• Participation in studies
• Ensuring and developing the quality of care
• Instruction and supervision of trainees and support staff

You enter the MHH through the entrance of the polyclinics (building K2) and then please take the 3rd corridor on the right into the entrance "Gastroenterological Day Clinic and Outpatient Clinic".
