Information on the ward
Welcome to our website
Our Nursing is based on the MHH mission statement and the nursing concept of Hannover Medical School. It is planned, carried out and evaluated in a patient-oriented manner, taking into account the psychosocial situation. We work according to the Primary Nursing care organization system, based on Marie Manthey, in which individual, continuous and comprehensive nursing care is provided for a certain number of patients over a period of 3-4 weeks.
Our beds are almost exclusively occupied by high-risk pregnant patients.
Our nursing team consists of full-time and part-time registered nurses, some of whom have various additional qualifications. Participation in internal and external training courses is an integral part of our Human Resources. New colleagues are introduced to their tasks in accordance with an induction guideline developed by our ward, which guarantees our patients a high standard of safety and care.
The focus of our nursing work lies in the care and support of patients:
- in microsurgery and fertilization surgery
- with serious illnesses before or during pregnancy, such as
- gestational diabetes, Hellp syndrome, condition after transplantation
- but also pregnant patients with diseases of their unborn children
