MHH Symphony Orchestra

The orchestra

The MHH Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1978 by Prof. Dr. Walter Stangel, then Head of MHH Transfusion Medicine, and has developed into a full symphony orchestra under his organizational direction. The core of the orchestra consists of students and employees of the MHH, as well as students and professionals from other universities and professional groups.

The musical work is project-based and usually extends over the course of the semester. Regular public concerts, to which top-class soloists are engaged, secure the orchestra a firm place in the cultural life of the city of Hanover.

The orchestra would like to thank the Freundesgesellschaft der MHH e.V. for its support. New players for the next season are very welcome. Play along now!
