Thank you for your interest in our study.
To make sure that you are eligible to participate, we would like to ask you to read the following short questions.

Have you ever thought about playing less?
Have you ever been annoyed by criticism of your gambling behavior?
Have you ever felt guilty about gambling?
Have you ever gambled to relieve stress?
Have you ever gambled even though you could not afford it financially?

Note: The wording of the question was based on the diagnostic criteria and validated questionnaires such as the CAGE (Mayfield, McLeod and Hall (1974)).

If you can answer at least two of these questions with "yes", participation in our study appears to make sense. Please fill out the following contact form so that we can get in touch with you.

My personal data will be stored and processed on the server of the MHH data center in accordance with data protection regulations, in particular the GDPR. Colleagues of the Addiction Outpatient Clinic of the Clinical Department of Psychiatry, Social- and Psychological Therapy of the Hannover Medical School have access to the data.

The processing of the personal data provided by me serves to contact me in order to clarify my concerns. If I send files (images and documents) via this form, I give my consent to the processing of this data. This also applies to special categories of personal data transmitted by me, such as health data. These are processed by MHH in accordance with Art. 9 para. 2 lit. b) GDPR exclusively for the clarification of my request. My personal data will only be passed on within the MHH to those departments and persons who need this data to fulfill contractual and legal obligations or to implement the legitimate interest of the MHH.

My personal data will not be passed on to a third country or an international organization.

After collection, my data will be stored by the Clinical Department of Psychiatry, Social- and Psychological Therapy of MHH for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose. As a rule, this means that my personal data will be deleted or anonymized after completion of the matter dealt with in the contact. Existing retention obligations and periods are observed.

Revocation: In the event of revocation, my data that I have provided via the contact form will be deleted.
