Our Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Surgery was once again awarded the seal of approval for adequate working conditions during pregnancy by the German Medical Association.
Gero Wesener Lecture Award
Dr. Marie Uecker was awarded the Gero Wesener Lecture Prize at the 61st Annual Meeting of the German Society for Paediatric Surgery (DGKCH) in Leipzig for her presentation on significant innovations in newborn screening in patients with biliary atresia. This project is of great importance for improving the care of patients with biliary atresia
Poster Prize 2022 of the German Society for Pediatric Surgery
Dr. Nagoud Shukfeh was awarded this year's poster prize for her poster presentation at the German Congress of Pediatric Surgery.
Scholarship from the German Society of Surgery
Dr. Omid Madadi-Sanjani was awarded the German Society of Surgery Scholarship for Continuing Education,
This makes him the first pediatric surgeon to receive this award.
As a highly esteemed and dedicated senior surgeon, Dr. Madadi-Sanjani places great value on further development and puts the well-being of the patient first.
He will use the award for further training in Toronto and Chicago.
