Dr. rer. nat. Shruti Chopra, Clinical Department of Dermatology, Allergology and Allergy, received the German Society for Clinical Allergology and Immunology (DGAKI) research award "Förderpreis Neue immunologische Therapien atopischer/allergischer Erkrankungen 2025", endowed with 2,500 euros, at the 20th German Allergy Congress (DAK) in Düsseldorf in October. The prize was awarded for her scientific work entitled "Collagen XXIII (COL23A1): A novel risk factor for eczema herpeticum".
