Dr. Rimma Kondrashova, Institute of Radiology, has been awarded the Young Investigator Award 2025 by the German Radiological Society. The postdoc impressed the jury with her analysis "Incidental findings in the HANSE lung cancer screening study". In her evaluation of almost 10,000 low-dose CTs at three locations (Hanover, Lübeck, Großhansdorf), she identified the type and frequency of so-called incidental findings.
