Effective September 1, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Othman will assume the directorship of the Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology at the Centre for Radiology. He succeeds associate professor Dr. Peter Raab, who had been serving as interim director following the departure of the former institute director, Prof. Dr. Heinrich Lanfermann. Professor Lanfermann retired in September 2025. Professor Othman is moving to Hanover from the Clinical Department and Polyclinic of the University Medical Center Mainz. In Mainz, he served as managing director of the Clinical Department and Polyclinic for Neuroradiology.
