Immerse yourself in the world of nature photography - all visitors can do so from next weekend in MHH's KunstGang. The association Fotografie und Kommunikation e.V. is presenting the nature photographs from the "European Nature Photographer of the Year 2022" competition. The exhibition shows outstanding photographs from categories such as birds, mammals, plants and fungi, landscapes and the underwater world.
In 2022, amateur and professional photographers from 35 countries submitted around 18,000 photos to the Society for Nature Photography (GDT). An international jury selected 104 winning images in ten categories and one special category. Russian photographer Mikhail Korostelev won the competition with a unique image of a hippopotamus family, which he took with an underwater drone in a South African salt lake. The exhibition travelled through Germany and Europe for three years and now ends in the KunstGang at MHH.
The Verein Fotografie & Kommunikation e.V. invites you to the vernissage of the exhibition:
- on Saturday, 2 August 2025,
- at 3 pm
- in the KunstGang of MHH, accessible via the main entrance of MHH, Carl-Neuberg-Straße 1, 30625 Hannover.
Admission is free.
The exhibition can be seen from Saturday, 2 August 2025, to Wednesday, 15 October 2025, daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the KunstGang of MHH.
Since 2023, the Photography & Communication Association has organised several photo exhibitions in MHH's KunstGang every year. The aim is to create a positive atmosphere in the hospital through art - also for patients and visitors.
