Psychology students have the opportunity to complete clinical internships of a minimum duration of six weeks in our department as well as in our superordinate Clinical Department of Psychiatry, Social-psychiatry and Psychological Therapy. In collaboration with the German Society for Sexual Medicine, Sexual Therapy and Sexual Science (DGSMTW), our cooperation partner, the Lehrinstitut für Sexualtherapie und Sexualmedizin Hannover(LiSS Hannover), offers a curricular training course in sexual therapy and sexual medicine. The curriculum extends over a period of approximately two years and is open to psychological psychotherapists, child and adolescent psychotherapists and physicians. The Sexual Medicine Quality Circle of the Lower Saxony Medical Association is open to physicians from different specialties. It takes place every two months on a Wednesday at the Ärztehaus Hannover. Participants can present their own cases and share their experiences in an interdisciplinary group. The event is certified with three points. Registration is required.
