In addition to supporting research and teaching, an important part of the sports medicine outpatient clinic is the care of employees, athletes and patients.

Physical activity and training are used for prevention, sports therapy and rehabilitation of complaints of the internal organ systems as well as the musculoskeletal system.

At our examination, training and testing centers in the Hannover Medical School (MHH) and in our branch office, the Sports Medicine Center in the Hannover Sports Performance Center / Olympic Training Center Lower Saxony, you have access to various prevention and therapy options as well as personally tailored performance diagnostic tests and sports checks with the expertise of an interdisciplinary team of sports physicians from various disciplines, scientists, trainers and therapists.

Interdisciplinary cooperation between various Clinical Departments and Institutes throughout Hannover Medical School is very important to us. For this reason, we offer internal health checks for executives, which aim to take a holistic view of the individual's state of health. On the other hand, chronically ill children are supported and cared for by a team of sports scientists both during their inpatient stay and as outpatients.
