In October 2022, the Clinical Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Institute of Sports Medicine merged to form the joint Clinical Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and Sports Medicine.

The two departments with their special knowledge, skills and focus of care will continue to exist, but this merger also opens up new perspectives and opportunities for patient care by gaining additional and new knowledge and research.
