If you decide to study as a guest student, you must first submit an application for guest auditor status by e-mail to the Student Office. The deadline for this is:

15 March (for the summer semester)
September 15 (for the winter semester)

Applications that arrive later or are incomplete can no longer be considered. As soon as your application has been processed, you will be informed by e-mail about the next steps.

Please note that as a guest student you are only allowed to attend lectures for 8 semester hours per week (SWS). The guest student fees are calculated according to the SWS:

up to 4 SWS = 50 Euro
from 4 SWS = 75 Euro

In accordance with § 13 para. 5 sentence 3, no guest lecture fees are charged for students who are already enrolled at another university in Lower Saxony with state responsibility.

Guest lecture program Human medicine

Unfortunately, guest studies in Human medicine are not possible at the MHH. The reason for this is the practical teaching with patient contact right at the beginning of the course, in contrast to the usual standard course.

Guest lecture program in dentistry

Unfortunately, it is NOT possible to participate in the guest lecture program in dentistry due to admission restrictions in the courses.

The MHH does not offer a special program for foreign dentists to prepare for the knowledge test.

Professional language courses for foreign physicians

Are you a foreign medical professional who wants to prepare for the specialist language exam and/or improve your German language skills for everyday work in a practice or Clinical Department? Or are you in the process of having your professional qualification as a physician or pharmacist recognized in Germany?

You can improve your language skills for integration into the German labor market in various professional language courses (BSK), e.g. at the Institute for Languages and Communications or at the adult education center in Hildesheim.
