German National Academic Foundation

Different paths lead to a scholarship

You can be accepted for funding at any point during your studies. You can apply for funding at the beginning of your studies, during the course of your studies, for a Master's degree, as part of various special programs or at the start of your doctorate. The following paths, among others, lead to a scholarship:

Suggestions from professors: professors at Hannover Medical School (MHH) actively suggest students they know from teaching. A proposal is possible after the completed 2nd semester in the Bachelor's program as well as in other undergraduate study programmes (state examination).

Suggestions from examination offices: The German National Academic Foundation contacts the contact persons at the MHH examination office once a year and asks them to nominate high-performing students from the 3rd or 4th semester for Studienstiftung funding.

Self-application: As part of the "self-assessment with selection test", students from the 1st and 2nd semester can apply independently for a Studienstiftung scholarship. *

At the Medical School, our liaison lecturer Professor Seifert and our liaison lecturer Professor Seidler are available to advise you.
