2. Amyloidosis Forum of Lower Saxony

We cordially invite you to our second interdisciplinary continuing education event hosted by the Amyloidosis Center of Lower Saxony on February 25, 2023, at 9:00 a.m.

Amyloidosis is a rare systemic disease with many facets. This makes early diagnosis difficult, yet it is crucial for the prognosis of the disease, especially since significant progress has been made in recent years regarding treatment options. Optimal care for these often complex patients, in whom various organ systems are directly or indirectly affected, can only be ensured through strong interdisciplinary care.

Early diagnosis of the disease and the timely initiation of appropriate therapy are crucial for treatment success. Our goal is to facilitate a mutual exchange of experiences and expertise in order to further improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients with amyloidosis.

In their presentations, experts from various medical disciplines will highlight the interdisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of the different forms of amyloidosis. This is intended to help you identify patients who may be affected by this rare disease early on in your daily clinical practice, so that the necessary diagnostic tests and treatment can be initiated promptly.

Please register in advance by February 20, 2023; further information can be found in the download.
