If you ever get stuck........

Disputes about rostering, trouble with vacation entitlement, doubts about the correct classification, changes to working hours, unfair distribution of workload - such incidents are commonplace and sometimes lead to controversy with colleagues and superiors. Those affected then try to find individual solutions within their means. In many cases, this is successful.

However, if a solution cannot be found in this way, it is worth getting the Staff Council involved. The Staff Council represents your interests in the company. It works on the basis of the Lower Saxony Staff Representation Act and therefore has legal options. Examples: A rejected leave application - null and void without staff council involvement. A new duty roster - invalid without staff council involvement. A warning or dismissal - inadmissible without staff council involvement.

We would like to point out that every employee has the legal right to visit our consultation hours during working hours.

No authorization is required to make use of the consultation hours. It is sufficient to verbally sign out and sign back in with the respective supervisor.

In the case of legal questions or complex topics, we ask you to make an appointment in advance so that we can prepare ourselves optimally.

To do this, you can contact the members of the Staff Council directly or our office; the times may then differ from the general office hours.

In addition, the non-exempt members of the Staff Council can be contacted on site according to their individual working hours.
