Physician-patient seminar: Liver transplantation

Dear colleagues, patients and relatives,

After the large number of participants and positive feedback on our online offers for corona vaccination, we would like to offer this concept of an online physician-patient seminar for general aspects after liver transplantation. We are particularly pleased about the joint planning and implementation with the patient organization Lebertransplantierte Deutschland e. V., which has helped us to tailor the program to your needs as patients. We want to provide you with interdisciplinary information on everything from the transplant procedure to the effects on daily life after a liver transplant. As many aspects of your future life depend on the vital use of immunosuppression, we would like to introduce you to the frequently used medications and the usual precautionary measures for infection prophylaxis (vaccinations) and early detection of cancer. We are particularly pleased to introduce you to our concept of individualized immunosuppression and to present our encouraging initial data on the safety and efficacy of this approach. In order to give you, our patients, the necessary space, we have planned sufficient time to answer your questions. We hope to have aroused your interest with this program and look forward to your participation and a lively discussion.
