Generation change underway
3rd Advent Lecture of the Transplant Centre
A generational change is underway at the MHH Transplant Centre. Transplantation medicine in Germany is facing old and new challenges. The 3rd Advent Lecture of the Transplant Centre therefore took place on Thursday, December 8, 2022 under the motto "Transplantation Medicine: New Minds, New Visions?". Four new executives at the MHH Transplant Centre presented their work and ideas and discussed the current situation in transplant medicine - at the MHH and in Germany.

- BA Karol Martens, Head of Nursing Services of Division III/HTTG since September 2021
- Prof. Dr. Kai Schmidt-Ott, Medical Director of the Clinical Department of Nephrology and Hypertension since May 2022
- Prof. Dr. Dr. Moritz Schmelzle, Medical Director of the Clinical Department of General, Visceral and Transplant Surgery since October 2022
