University archive of the MHH
The university archive is the "memory" of the university. It is responsible for permanently securing files and digital records of our university and making them available for use. All Clinical Departments, Institutes and administrative facilities of the MHH are obliged to offer documents from research and administration to the University Archives after the legally prescribed retention period has expired. Users who can prove a legitimate interest can use the archive material in accordance with the user regulations.
On the occasion of the Bundestag elections, the VdA (Verband deutscher Archivarinnen und Archivare e.V. - Association of German Archivists) is calling for archives in all sectors to be strengthened: a liberal society needs strong archives as the authentic memory of our society! For information, findings etc. from historical patient records, please contact the (Central) Patient Record Archive (ZPA) / Clinical Archive Department for internal inquiries. For external inquiries, please contact the ZPA by e-mail.
