The control console is the surgeon's workplace and the heart of the "da Vinci" robot. The surgeon sits in front of the console, 3 fingers of each hand control the so-called master handles of the system. These then transmit the movements of the robot inside the patient.

The arm rests on the right and left enable an ergonomic posture. The surgeon can rest his arms in a relaxed position. The system forgives hand tremors or slight jerks. These movements are not transferred to the robot arms, they are filtered, so to speak.
