Interdisciplinary uro-oncological tumor conference

Every Wednesday, 4 p.m.
in the urology meeting room
K02, level S0, room 5320

A special feature of our Clinical Department is not only our weekly interdisciplinary prostate cancer consultation, but also our interdisciplinary conferences on Wednesdays.

Prior to treatment, complicated oncological patient cases are discussed in this conference, existing documents such as radiological images (e.g. CT, skeletal scintigraphy) or pathological findings are reviewed and evaluated and an individual treatment is then determined in close consultation with the patient.

In addition to urology, colleagues from oncology, radiology, radiotherapy and pathology are present at the interdisciplinary conference, and other specialist disciplines are called in if necessary. Our colleagues in private practice also regularly take part in this conference to present their own patients and obtain an interdisciplinary expert opinion, e.g. on further treatment. Patients who require follow-up therapies or complex interdisciplinary treatments after primary therapy are discussed in this large group. At the same time, this forum offers the opportunity for an intensive exchange of experience and knowledge, which is promoted by regular certified training courses.

Important information on all tumor conferences and the MHH Molecular Tumor Board can also be obtained from the Claudia von Schilling Center.
