PROBASE study

Hanover is one of four study centers of the PROBASE study, in which a modern concept for general PSA screening is being investigated. In this risk-adapted strategy, PSA tests are carried out depending on the individual risk of the man, which is determined on the basis of a baseline PSA value at the age of 45 or 50.
