Call for Clinician & Medical Scientist in preparation for the Excellence Initiative
Hannover Medical School is one of the leading medical universities in Germany. As a supramaximal care hospital, it offers interdisciplinary cutting-edge medicine at the highest international level to over 63,000 inpatients and more than 470,000 outpatients every year.
As one of the strongest university medical institutions in Germany in terms of research, the MHH offers excellent conditions for young scientists. The scientific focus is on infection/immunology, transplantation/regeneration and biomedical technology/implantology.
In addition, the wide range of support programs for physicians underlines the high value placed on teaching and knowledge transfer at the MHH.
We are looking for you!
Talented scientists from all disciplines - (dental) medicine, natural sciences, engineering, communication sciences - who want to establish their own group in the new cluster initiative in one of the MHH's key research areas "Organ Transplantation & Regeneration" or "Implant Sciences and Biomedical Technology".
- Completed doctorate with above-average achievements
- Convincing CV with presentation of previous scientific focus and supra-regional visibility
- Presentation of the integration potential through a convincing concept outline for the cluster initiative
- Very high interest in translational research
- (Inter-)national or interdisciplinary networking
- Commitment and experience in teaching, scientific or patient communication
- Establishment and management of a first own working group in the above-mentioned key areas
- Assumption of budget and personnel responsibility
- Acquisition of peer-reviewed project funding
- Participation in the development of talent
