Juliane Poeck has been a research assistant at the Institute ofGeneral Medicine and Palliative Medicine since April 2023 and works in the G-BA-funded project StatAMed (Transformation of the patient pathway through a cross-sectoral short inpatient general medicine-oriented care model).
She studied psychology at Friedrich Schiller University Jena from 2011 to 2017. Since 2017, she has been working as a research associate in various departments at Jena University Hospital.
Parallel to her work at the Institute, she continues to work at the Institute of General Medicine in Jena. There she was involved in the NOVELLE project (cross-sector & integrated emergency and disposition management for the last phase of life). She is currently working on the G-BA-funded project pallcompare(utilization and outcomes of palliative care in Germany in regional comparison - a SHI routine data study) and coordinates the Center for Health Services Research.
Juliane Poeck's research to date has focused on end-of-life care and qualitative health services research.
