The prize was awarded for the project "Interaction at the end of life in dyads of parents and adult children" by the Dy@EoL project team led by Franziska Herbst, Laura Gawinski, Stephanie Stiel and Nils Schneider. The prize is endowed with 6000 €.

The Dy@EoL project team led by Franziska Herbst, Laura Gawinski, Stephanie Stiel and Nils Schneider received the prize for the poster "Challenges of recruiting patient-relative dyads at the end of life".
- 2019: Poster Abstract Prize in the "Frailty" category of the 16th World Congress of the European Association for Palliative Care
The poster abstract entitled "General practitioners' care for frail older patients in the last phase of life - where does geriatric care end and palliative care start?" by Stephanie Stiel, Helen Ewertowski, Olaf Krause, Gabriele Müller-Mundt and Nils Schneider was awarded the prize.
- 2018: Award for Palliative Medicine from the German Society for Palliative Medicine
The working group "MRSA in end-of-life care (M-EndoL)" with Stephanie Stiel and Franziska Herbst was awarded the award. This is endowed with 6000 €.
