Oncology Center of Excellence - What's in it for me as a patient?
CCC Hannover patient event: Online, on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm
Dear ladies and gentlemen,
dear patients,
dear relatives and interested parties
With the aim of continuously improving cancer medicine nationwide and raising it to a high level, German Cancer Aid launched its "Oncological Centers of Excellence" funding program in 2007. These so-called Comprehensive Cancer Centers (CCC) form the first stage of a comprehensive, three-stage program launched by German Cancer Aid (DKH) together with the German Cancer Society (DKG).
Following the successful certification of the Oncology Center at the Medical University of Göttingen (MHH), the center was also awarded the title of Oncology Center of Excellence at the beginning of this year together with the University Medical Center Göttingen (UMG). Together, the UMG and MHH form the Comprehensive Cancer Center Lower Saxony. For people suffering from cancer in Lower Saxony, this means holistic care at the highest quality level according to the latest scientific findings. Every cancer patient should have access to the best possible diagnostics and treatment.
In our patient event, we would like to present a selection of our main areas of activity at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Hannover (Claudia von Schilling Center).
We look forward to your participation and the exchange with you.
The team of the Oncology Center of Excellence,
CCC Hannover (Claudia von Schilling Center)
