Information series of the Klaus Bahlsen Center for Integrative OncologyIn the information series, employees provide information on selected topics, such as polyneuropathy or returning to (working) life after cancer. The events take place in the afternoons.
Psycho-oncological resilience group for cancer patientsThe group meets for six sessions of 90 minutes each, every 14 days on Wednesday afternoons at 3:30 pm.
Group offer "Strengthening strengths with cancer - impulses for dealing with your own illness"Tuesdays, every 2 weeks from 15:30 to 17:00.
Familial cancers
The BRCA network has been a nationwide self-help organization for over ten years, supporting both healthy people and those who already have the disease. The BRCA network is a point of contact for those affected, those seeking advice and families with or without a mutation. The knowledge of a hereditary increased probability of developing cancer raises particular questions and stresses for those affected, for example:
- Should I take a genetic test?
- What consequences will the result of the genetic test have for me and my relatives?
- What does the genetic burden mean for my partnership and family planning?
- Should I have an operation as a precaution?
- How do I tell my children?
- What are my legal rights and obligations towards my insurance company?
In order to make the exchange more flexible and independent of location, the BRCA network invites you to a virtual exchange in a protected environment.
