The Clinical Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology participates in university teaching at the MHH through lectures, seminars and bedside teaching. Trainees and PJ students are also regularly on our ward as part of their training(PJ information).
We try to convey our enthusiasm for pediatrics to the students. For this reason, elective courses are also offered in addition to the normal "compulsory courses". Dr. Urs Mücke is a lecturer at the Clinical Department and welcomes your suggestions and comments on our courses.
In addition to curricular courses, our Clinical Department regularly offers elective courses. Among other things, the Pedagotchi teaching-learning project is used to train clinical decision-making skills.

Requests for doctoral studies will be forwarded to the department's research group leaders. If the working groups are looking for doctoral students and your application fits the project, the working groups will contact you independently.
By submitting your application documents, you agree that they will be forwarded to the heads of the working groups.
Consultation hours for students
Dr. Urs Mücke offers a consultation hour for students on Wednesday afternoons. You are welcome to use this opportunity to find out about the possibilities of a work shadowing, a clinical traineeship or a dissertation in our Department.
