• On April 18, 2024, the LAGEN Doctoral Candidates' Day will take place at Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts. The LAGEN Annual Conference will also take place on April 19, 2024. Both events will be hosted by us as a competence center together with the Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts and the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media.

• Presentation of the 2023 Future Prize of the German Society of Nephrology to Prof. Dr. Dr. Anette Melk, Prof. Dr. Bernhard Schmidt and the MHH team for their work on the topic of "Gender-specific differences in kidney transplantation".

• Symposium "Gender Diversity in Healthcare" on 02.09.2023 from 10-19 o'clock in the Ver.Di Höfe in Hanover. The aim of the conference is to network medical staff and queer self-organizations. • 27.04.2022: Start of the lecture series "Philosophy and Medicine" organized by the AStA together with the Institute of History, Ethics and Philosophy of Medicine with the title "A handful of chromosomes. Medicine and the diversity of (biological) gender"

• On March 23, 2022, a retreat of the Clinician Scientist Program - Young Academy PRACTIS / CORE100-Pilot on the topic "Gender-sensitive medicine" will take place.

• MHH internal survey on research in the field of gender-sensitive medicine. Until 20.06.2021, all scientists at the MHH can take part in the Competence Center's survey on research in the field of gender-sensitive medicine here. With this survey, we would like to record what expertise already exists in this field at the MHH.

• On February 9, 2021, a digital kick-off meeting of the Competence Center took place with all members and interested parties at the MHH. At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Dr. Melk was elected spokesperson and Prof. Dr. Dr. Salloch was elected deputy spokesperson of the competence center.
