The Women's Professional Network (WomenPro) at Hannover Medical School (MHH) is a newly founded network. The focus is on promoting and networking female physicians, scientists and (future) executives.
The aim is to
- improve the networking of female specialists
- increase their visibility and support them in management positions.

Events in the network
Leadership in Science - with focus, clarity and effect. Become more confident in leadership positions of scientific projects - despite a lot of responsibility and various requirements.
In this workshop you will learn concrete for your clinical and scientistic everyday life:
- setting milestones
- assigning priorities
- managing time
- and defining clear goals
Together you will work on the special challenges of being a leader: How do I lead a team? How do I delegate, motivate and encourage? How do I handle conflict? How do I position myself within the scientific hierarchy and develop an effective network?
With interactive formats such as fishbowl, small groups and teamwork you find out how to establish clear routines, strengthen communication and take on responsibility professionally - even within complex structures. Prof. Dr. Katja Biermann-Ruben will guide you with well-found knowledge and experience.
