Commission for Gender Equality
Tasks of the Commission for Gender Equality
The Commission for Gender Equality (KfG) is a Senate commission made up of representatives from all groups. On the one hand, the KfG prepares resolution recommendations for the implementation and updating of the equality plan as part of the university's development planning. On the other hand, it is responsible for drawing up a proposal for filling the position of full-time Equal Opportunities Officer in accordance with Section 42 (1) sentence 1 NHG for approval by the Senate. Furthermore, the KfG's tasks include advising and supporting the Equal Opportunities Officer. The KfG also acts as an advisory board for the Ina-Pichlmayr-Mentoring, the Ellen-Schmidt-Program, the Early Career Program and the awarding of the Family LOM 360 Grad.
