HAINS Safety© Courses
HAINS Safety© is a cross-hospital and simulator-based training curriculum in "Anesthesia Crisis Resource Management" (ARCM / incident management) based on the Helsinki Declaration on Patient Safety in Anesthesiology.
The aims of the curriculum are
- Training in the management of rare critical incidents
- Raising awareness of incident-relevant behaviors and attitudes
- Acquisition and optimization of problem-solving behaviour in the event of incidents
- Training of situation-relevant stress management strategies
- Training in communication and team behavior in an emergency
HAINS Safety© Classic
HAINS Safety© Classic is a simulator training course based on the Helsinki Declaration on Patient Safety. The focus is on anesthesia crisis resource management (ACRM / incident management) in adult patients. Training in communications strategies and team leadership in critical situations in the OR environment are at the forefront. This course is an excellent introduction to the world of simulation.

Further training assistants, specialists, senior physicians and nursing staff in anaesthesia - max. 12 participants

HAINS Safety© PED
HAINS Safety© Ped is a simulator training course based on the Helsinki Declaration on Patient Safety. The focus is on Anesthesia Crisis Resource Management (ACRM) in children. Incidents in pediatric anesthesia are rare and the time pressure is particularly high. This training provides special safety for pediatric anesthesia and is suitable both as an introductory and advanced course.

Further training assistants, specialists, senior physicians and nursing staff in anaesthesia - max. 12 participants

HAINS Safety© ICU
HAINS Safety© ICU is a simulation training course specially designed for medical staff in intensive care units. The teams master typical emergency situations in the intensive care unit, such as securing the airway, across professional groups and disciplines. In addition to communication strategies for emergencies, the course focuses on raising awareness of incident-relevant behaviors and attitudes.
- Target group:
Physicians of all specialties and nurses working in an intensive care unit or IMC, stroke or chest pain unit. - Max. 12 participants
