QM-FAM Reha 6.0 - Internal quality management
The Family Health Research Network combines practice-oriented research with the further development of therapeutic concepts and the development and evaluation of quality management measures in the participating clinics. Since 2006, a DIN EN ISO-based internal quality management (IQM) procedure has been developed specifically for the field of rehabilitation – QM-FAM Reha 6.0. Maternity, mother-child and mother/father-child rehabilitation clinics can be certified according to this BAR-recognised procedure.
The current version of the Model Quality Manual 6.0 has been adapted to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Although DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 no longer requires a quality manual, the clinics in the research association have decided to retain the quality manual as a proven working tool.
Adaptation to other areas of indication is possible.
A complete revision of QM-FAM Reha is currently being considered, which, by designing it as a set of rules based on DIN EN ISO with an exemplary manual, is intended to give clinics structure but also a certain degree of flexibility in the design of their QM.
