The GENSEC Core Unit team.

GENSEC (Genomics & Single-Cell Core Unit) central research facility evolved from the former Research Core Unit Genomics (RCUG) through funding from the “Potentiale strategisch entfalten” (zukunft.niedersachsen) and is associated with the Department of Human Genetics. It serves as a central partner for cutting-edge, comprehensive multi-omics research within Hannover Medical School. Our platform provides easy access to state-of-the-art methods, such as modern single-cell and spatial technologies. GENSEC combines cost-effective services (through optimized laboratory workflows and framework agreements with established partners) with scientific consulting, comprehensive project support, and data analysis.
