The Deutschlandstipendium at the MHH

What is the Deutschlandstipendium?

With the Deutschlandstipendium, the German government is expanding student funding through a program that is also initiating a new scholarship culture in Germany. The federal government and private sponsors - companies, associations, foundations and private individuals - work together to support high-achieving students. In this way, civil society is taking responsibility for talented young people and making a contribution to Germany's future. With the Deutschlandstipendium, private donors and the federal government work together to support young talent.

Talented students are each supported with 300 euros per month. The scholarships are jointly financed by private donors and the federal government. Private donors pay 150 euros and the federal government contributes 150 euros. The universities are therefore responsible for acquiring funding, organizing the selection of scholarship holders and awarding the scholarships. Whether you are a company, association, foundation or private individual - there are many ways to contribute to the promotion of young talent.

The scholarship of €300 per month supports particularly talented, capable and committed MHH students. In addition to good academic performance and personal commitment, social commitment, willingness to take on responsibility or special personal circumstances are also taken into account.
