Qualification objective
Students complete an internship at an Institute of a university or comparable institution on their own initiative. As a rule, an individually supervised research project is carried out during the 6-week laboratory internship.

Competencies
Students apply their knowledge of biochemistry and molecular biology in the form of a research question. Participants deepen their methodological foundations and their self-organization, as well as their ability to work in a team. They are able to compare different methods for solving a problem and select the appropriate one. Students are able to evaluate the results obtained and present them in a professional manner.
