Competencies
After successfully completing the module, students will be able to describe various mechanisms of signal transmission, its regulation and signal processing as well as the application of protein and molecular biology techniques, in particular cell and tissue culture. They will be able to summarize the current original literature on signal transduction, present it in a lecture and critically evaluate it. Students will be able to apply their knowledge of protein and molecular biology techniques, cell and tissue culture and the planning of experiments on signal transduction as well as record and evaluate experimental data and present them in the form of a practical protocol.
