Qualification objective
To teach the fundamentals of biophysical chemistry, which determine the dynamic behaviour of biological macromolecules, as well as various methods that are suitable for the biophysical characterization of macromolecules. Application of various biophysical methods for the kinetic and thermodynamic characterization of protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions and protein dynamics as well as evaluation and interpretation of the data.

Competencies
After successfully completing the module, students will be able to apply the theoretical knowledge of the fundamentals of biophysical chemistry acquired in the lecture "Biophysical Chemistry" in experiments. They can independently collect and analyze data and compare the results with the literature. Students can decide which biophysical methods are suitable for tackling different issues. They are able to plan, carry out, analyze, interpret and evaluate corresponding experiments.
