Competencies
After successfully completing the module, students will be able to reproduce fundamental concepts in glycobiology with a focus on the structure, biosynthesis and function of glycoconjugates. They will be able to understand current literature, extract relevant data and present it in English. Critical evaluation of data and methods enables students to propose solutions to other problems. Students independently apply the theoretical knowledge of biochemical and molecular biological working techniques acquired in the lecture "Glycobiochemistry". Students work on research projects as part of the internship. They are able to independently analyze and present the results obtained. Students are able to suggest and justify further experiments.
