Competencies
After successfully completing the module, students will be able to describe the molecular basis of pathobiochemical processes at the cellular and systemic level, including the associated clinical pictures. This knowledge enables them to apply biochemical and cell biological methods for the analysis of pathobiochemical processes and to analyze experimental results. The knowledge acquired in the lecture is deepened in the accompanying seminars by presenting current publications. With the help of the theoretical foundations, students learn to understand the results presented, to analyze the results and to evaluate them in the context of other publications. Students acquire knowledge of modern molecular biology and biochemical working techniques and apply these. The internship enables students to plan, carry out and evaluate experiments independently. In particular, students are taught how to analyze errors, evaluate results and develop their own solutions.
