Summer School 01.-02.08.2022

"Interdisciplinary health literacy research and chronic diseases"

On August 1 and 2, 2022, the Summer School "Interdisciplinary Health Literacy Research and Chronic Diseases" took place at Hannover Medical School. The event was organized by doctoral students from the research group "Chronic Diseases and Health Literacy" (ChEG). The summer school was aimed at students, doctoral candidates and early career researchers with an interest or research focus in the field of health literacy.

The following key topics were covered in interactive formats during the Summer School:

• Interdisciplinary health literacy research
• Sub-areas of health literacy (including mental, digital, organizational or movement-related health literacy)
• Organizations and actors in the context of health literacy
• Health policy and health literacy
