The Institute of Clinical Pharmacology optimizes drug treatments competently in all pharmacotherapeutic areas of patient care.
In addition, the Institute runs a vigilance unit for clinical trials with medicinal products and medical devices.
In the field of clinical research , patient-oriented clinical studies are carried out from planning to implementation and evaluation.
The Center for Drug Safety (ZAS) networks the drug therapy expertise at the MHH.
The basis for a sustainably safe healthcare system is future-oriented research and teaching. Physicians are offered structured and stringent further training to become specialists in clinical pharmacology.

The training period to become a specialist in clinical pharmacology is 5 years.
The Institute of Clinical Pharmacology at the MHH offers all the required further training content in research, teaching and patient care in a structured manner. Further training is fully authorized.
