The Center for Rare Tumors deals with care, research and teaching in the field of desmoids, Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) and neuroendocrine tumors (NET).
The therapeutic and diagnostic landscape of oncology is undergoing a fundamental change due to the advent of molecular therapies. As a result, it is increasingly possible to define subgroups that are amenable to special therapy.
As these are often small patient populations, it is the aim of our center to map such developments and to be able to offer corresponding clinical trials.
