The events organized by the International Office are open to both local and international students.
We strongly encourage you to register for our events as it is vital for planning. Cancellation is also strongly encouraged for the same reason.

Come with us on an exciting hike through the Harz Mountains! We will take you on an unforgettable journey through one of Germany's most beautiful natural landscapes.
We hike the Goethe Trail from Torfhaus up to the Brocken. We then take the Harz narrow-gauge railroad downhill to Wernigerode, where we take the train back.
Whether you are an experienced hiker or a newcomer, the tour suits everyone. So grab your friends, put on your trainers or hiking boots and get ready for our hike!

Participation fee: 12 € (includes the ride on the Harz narrow-gauge railroad, regular ticket price 37 €). Please hand it in to Angela Steinhusen or Mareike Hoffmann at the International Office by 12.05.2024.
Registration: until 12.05.2024 via e-mail to Mareike Hoffmann. When registering, please state your name, nationality, status (first-year student, tutor, etc.), whether you are an international student and whether you have the Germany ticket for May.
Discover Hamburg with us!
What can you expect? We will start with a little refreshment in a café, from where our city tour will begin. We will explore the beautiful districts and charm of Hamburg and take in the fresh sea air. The tour will end at the Elbphilharmonie concert hall, where we will have a fascinating view of the city from the viewing platform. After some free time, we will drive back to Hanover together in the evening.
