The waste is collected by the disposal staff from the disposal rooms of the respective areas. The different waste fractions (glass, paper/cardboard, residual waste, yellow bags, etc.) are separated. The various waste fractions are collected at regular intervals.

The waste is taken to the K28 waste depot using electric locomotives. Glass, for example, is sorted there. A total of around 13 tons of waste is collected daily from the waste yard by external disposal companies.

Hazardous waste and data protection paper is collected on individual request.
