Copyright: Trulley, Philipp / Zellbiochemie / MHH

Qualification objective
The module builds on the module "Molecular Biology and Biochemistry of Cancer I" and takes the molecular principles of cancer presented there further in the direction of already established and possible future applications in therapy. (Participation is also possible without attending the first part.)

Competencies
After successfully completing the module, students will be able to

  • establish connections between molecular mechanisms in cancer diseases,
  • identify and scrutinize therapeutic successes and setbacks,
  • understand approaches to the utilization of molecular/cell biological and biochemical peculiarities in cancer for diagnosis and therapy.
