Qualification objective
The module aims to provide students with knowledge of basic molecular and cell biological aspects and biochemical processes in cancer diseases as well as an overview of the current state of cancer research.

Competencies
After successfully completing the module, students will be able to

• name and outline specific terms and facts of our current state of knowledge on molecular processes in cancer.
• present scientific studies based on original literature and explain the background.
• use the examples presented to consider how scientific questions can be posed and addressed.
